BrokerBot, an AI platform designed to automate administrative tasks for real estate brokerages, has successfully closed its seed funding round. The investment was led by Grand Ventures, with participation from Second Century Ventures, the investment arm of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
Since its launch in early 2025, BrokerBot has been adopted by over 240 brokerages, serving more than 30,000 agents. The platform aims to alleviate the burden of repetitive agent inquiries, such as requests for W-9 forms or commission splits, by providing instant answers based on each brokerage's specific documents and policies. This automation is reported to help enforce compliance and has contributed to a significant reduction in minor contract corrections.
Jerimiah Taylor, co-founder and CEO of BrokerBot, explained that the AI is trained on a brokerage's entire knowledge base. A key differentiator is its ability to recognize when it doesn't know an answer, rather than fabricating one like some other AI models. When encountering unknown queries, BrokerBot alerts the brokerage leadership, turning these instances into training opportunities. The company has also developed an interview-based onboarding process to help brokerages that lack written standard operating procedures.
Looking ahead, BrokerBot is moving towards completing tasks with agentic AI, including transaction management and integrating with systems like SkySlope for e-signatures and contract generation. The platform can already read contract dates, set reminders, and upload documents to platforms like SkySlope. Taylor demonstrated the AI's capability by taking a picture of a Realtor's badge and having BrokerBot find their contact information and generate a follow-up email, showcasing its impressive ability to gather and act on information.
