Trump delays intel nominee to pressure Congress on voter ID bill

Furthermore, a Democrat-backed measure aimed at repealing a Trump administration rule concerning immigration review did not advance. The measure failed to secure the simple majority required for advancement during a vote that took place on Tuesday. This rule pertains to the review process for immigration matters under the Trump administration.
