Electric-vehicle maker Polestar announced on Thursday that it has not been granted authorization to sell vehicles in the United States from model year 2027 onwards, effectively banning the company from the U.S. market. The Sweden-based company, which is majority-owned by China's Geely Holding, stated it will continue to sell existing Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 stock in the U.S. and maintain access to its service network.
