The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) began a wave of staff reductions on Monday, according to a person familiar with the matter. The removals commenced days after Bill Pulte, a staunch loyalist to President Donald Trump, assumed the role of acting director. Pulte, who also leads the Federal Housing Financing Agency, was chosen by Trump to temporarily head the ODNI following the announcement that the first director, Tulsi Gabbard, was stepping down.
