Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti, V. Somanna, on Thursday flagged off the Madgaon–Karwar Express service from Madgaon Railway Station in Goa. This new train service is expected to significantly enhance rail connectivity between Goa and the coastal districts of Karnataka.
The introduction of the Madgaon–Karwar Express is anticipated to provide a convenient, affordable, and efficient travel option for commuters, students, tourists, and business travelers.
