Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been conferred with Slovakia's highest state decoration, the 'Order of the White Double Cross (1st Class),' during his visit to the European nation. The award was presented by Slovakian President Peter Pellegrin.
BJP MP Naveen Jindal congratulated Prime Minister Modi, stating that the honor is a testament to India's growing stature and influence on the global stage. Prime Minister Modi dedicated the award to the 140 crore people of India and underscored the strengthening of people-to-people ties between the two countries.
The External Affairs Ministry noted that Slovakia recognized PM Modi's contribution to strengthening bilateral ties, reflecting the growing depth of the India-Slovakia partnership. This marks the 33rd international honor bestowed upon Prime Minister Modi by various countries.
