Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle on Wednesday evening and found approximately £35,000 in cash in a shopping bag. A subsequent search of a property linked to the vehicle's 54-year-old driver uncovered millions of pounds in cash, hidden in bags across two bedrooms, along with the Class A drug. The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing criminal property and remains in police custody. Commander Paul Brogden described the cash seizure as 'one of the largest we've seen' and highlighted the impact of proactive local policing in tackling serious and organised crime.
