This survey follows recent political developments, including a corruption investigation into a senior Lula ally and debates over accountability for new U.S. tariff threats against Brazil. The Quaest poll is the first survey conducted after these events.
An earlier AtlasIntel/Bloomberg poll indicated that Lula would win a potential second-round runoff vote with 48.8% of votes, against Flavio Bolsonaro's 42.3%. In that same poll, Lula led in a first-round scenario with 46.3% of the votes, followed by Flavio Bolsonaro with 36.6%. The AtlasIntel/Bloomberg poll surveyed 4,999 people between June 26 and 30, with a margin of error of one percentage point.
