Hong Kong police arrested a 61-year-old man and his 31-year-old son on Sunday for allegedly assaulting public officers. The arrests followed a dispute over a parking ticket issued by two traffic wardens in Tuen Mun. According to sources, the father allegedly threw the ticket at a female warden, and when a male colleague intervened, the son reportedly threw the ticket at him. Both men, surnamed Lam, were apprehended outside cooked food stalls in Sam Shing. The traffic wardens involved did not sustain visible injuries but were taken to Tuen Mun Hospital for precautionary examination. The case is under follow-up investigation by the Tuen Mun District Crime Squad.
