Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), was allegedly slapped by unknown individuals while being carried on supporters' shoulders during a protest in Jaipur. The demonstration, held at Shaheed Smarak, focused on issues such as the alleged NEET paper leak and unemployment.
According to police and eyewitnesses, Dipke was slapped multiple times by at least two men before his supporters intervened. Police have detained two youths in connection with the incident and are continuing their investigation.
Dipke, 30, who has lived in the U.S. for two years, stated that the incident was a tactic to intimidate him and his group, asserting their commitment to continue speaking out on the issues at hand. The Cockroach Janta Party, which claims to represent "the lazy, the unemployed, and the chronically correct," has gained significant traction, amassing over 22.5 million followers on Instagram since its launch in mid-May. The group is demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan due to recurring examination paper leaks and marking errors that affect millions of students.
