‘Very serious matter’: Fears mount over low US munitions despite Trump denying reports

​The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says America’s reported low munitions is a “very serious matter. ​“There are some things that can be produced in huge quantities rapidly, but it doesn’t produce these things in huge quantities, so this is a massive failure of planning on behalf of the United States,” Mr Sheridan told News24 host James Macpherson. ​“The United States is a global superpower; it’s fighting a war with a middleweight at best, Iran, and it has just about exhausted its high-tech munitions. ​“It shouldn’t have started the war if that was going to happen.” ​”Low munitions are one of the many reasons Trump is “desperately” searching for an off-ramp.”
