Nationals Leader Matt Canavan accuses Communications Minister Anika Wells of trivialising Australia’s housing crisis by comparing the nation’s most important household asset to a children’s toy. “It I think underlines why people are so, so dispirited with their political leadership these days,” Mr Canavan told News24 host Paul Murray. “It doesn’t seem like Anika Wells is talking to that many people. “This is an incredibly serious issue for people; people’s housing assets are the most important investment in their lifetimes; Ooshies are a child’s toy.”
