‘Very big worry’: Solomon Islands PM sends PIF into turmoil with shock exit

​The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says Solomon Islands Prime Minister Matthew Wale’s shock departure from the Pacific Islands Forum is a “big, big worry”. ​“You can’t get real outcomes without the leaders, but you don’t get real outcomes at the Pacific Islands Forum. If you’re looking for real outcomes, that’s the wrong address,” Mr Sheridan told News24 host James Macpherson. ​“The retreat of the Solomon Islands Prime Minister Matthew Wale is a very big worry for Australia because he is a China sceptic.”
