US sees Australia as southern front in possible China war

Former home affairs secretary Mike Pezzullo says the US sees Australia as a southern front in a possible war with China. “They see us as an important southern front in any – God forbid, and the remote prospect of this occurring – a US-China war,” Mr Pezzullo told News24. “Australia affords them a second front.”
