Unclear how low US munitions really are as Trump calls on manufacturers to pick up the pace

​JNS News Washington Correspondent Mike Wagenheim says the “truth likely lies somewhere in between” the various reports suggesting US munitions are low. ​“You have, in one sense, disputing these reports that munitions are running low, specifically long-range munitions, specifically Patriot and THAAD anti-missile defence systems,” Mr Wagenheim told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. ​“But at the same time President Trump has come out publicly and said that the defence manufacturers in the United States have to pick up the pace, that it’s going way too slowly trying to replace these munitions. “The truth likely lies somewhere in between.”
