TV host blasts ‘Bob blowhard Carr’ for ‘dangerous’ comments on Jewish groups

News24 host Rowan Dean has unleashed a scathing attack on former premier and foreign minister Bob Carr, condemning his recent comments as defamatory and dangerous towards Jewish organisations. “This week, one of Australia's least impressive former foreign ministers was yet again suffering from relevance deprivation syndrome," Mr Dean said. “Bob blowhard Carr, the man who put relentless Israel-bashing into the Aussie lexicon. “He was on X this week, after wanging on about Trump, making … clearly defamatory remarks. “A former Premier and Foreign Minister should understand the potential consequences of publicly demonising Jewish organisations in this way. His rhetoric risks further inflaming hostility towards Australian Jews and putting our safety at risk.”
