Canada’s retaliatory tariffs on the US have come into effect. Canada put 15-50 per cent levies on $20 billion worth of US goods. US President Donald Trump is now escalating the trade war further as he targets one of Canada’s aircraft manufacturers. “No more selling Bombardier in the United States … if they want our market, they must build here, and stop treating America like a piggy bank,” he said in a post on Truth Social.
