Trump: Allies intervened to stop ‘massive’ Iran strike

US President Donald Trump spoke to the press after the suspension of strikes on Iran, attributing the pause to input from regional allies and potential agreements with Iran. “We were all set to go, at this time right now. It would've been a massive attack,” Mr Trump said. “When the allies ask to call it off … you’ve got to say, well, let’s see. “The reason they asked is I think there's a deal, there's a deal on Hormuz, and then there will be a deal on nuclear.”
