'Tin-eared': Albanese accused of damaging Australia's vital Japan alliance

Former NSW trade and investment commissioner Mike Newman believes Prime Minister Anthony Albanese showed shocking priorities by missing celebrations marking 50 years of Australia's partnership with Japan. “It’s a question of priorities,” Mr Newman told News24 host Andrew Bolt. “You would have thought that the 50th anniversary of one of our most important trading partners, not only trading very strategically in a defence sense as well. “He’s showing just how tin-eared he is towards the Japanese relationship. “The Spotify revelations have only added to the insult that’s already there.”
