News24 host Peta Credlin weighs in on Victoria's anti-corruption watchdog finding the Andrews government engaged in "serious and concerning" conduct. “An inquiry that's taken eight years to investigate corruption claims involving the Andrews Government and the powerful firefighters union,” Ms Credlin said. “Despite IBAC's multimillion budget, successive commissioners have pleaded for additional powers to tackle corruption and been rejected. “Instead, rotten governments have been able to use it as a shield against corruption claims … while keeping it as toothless as possible. “This is a joke. Compare Victoria's impotent IBAC with NSW's ICAC. As this latest report shows, IBAC can only investigate "serious corrupt conduct" amounting to criminality.”
