Three weeks after thousands of migrants surged across the border separating Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, Spanish police have begun moving migrants to temporary shelters. Around 70,000 migrants breached the border last month, many of them setting up makeshift camps on the beach. Spanish authorities have set up dozens of beds along the city's esplanade. People waited in lines in a car park before being brought to their temporary shelters. The facility will be able to host up to 1,800 people and aims to get those who had been sleeping rough off the city's streets and beaches.
