Shadow Minister sounds alarm over soaring migration and housing shortfall

Shadow Science and Technology Minister Aaron Violi commented on the government’s approach to migration, highlighting concerns over rising numbers and policy standards. “It's clear under this government that the migration numbers have been too high and the standards have been too low,” Mr Violi told News24 Political Editor Andrew Clennell. “Migration has played a key part in the Australian success story; my family is a migrant story. “The migrant story adds to the Australian story, but it's clear under this government that that's not working. “We’ve seen a significant increase in the migrant numbers, and housing is not kept up.”
