Archbishop of Canterbury gives award to man who praised Osama bin Laden

News24 host Rita Panahi has named the Archbishop of Canterbury as her “wally of the week” for giving an award to someone who previously praised Osama bin Laden. “It was only once it was revealed that the award recipient had this shameful history that she withdrew the prize,” Ms Panahi said. “The fact that we’re normalising the dehumanising burqa in a British church. “It is just disgusting.”
