Saturday Night Live UK brutally mock Ed Sheeran over Macklemore tour drama

Saturday Night Live UK has targeted singer Ed Sheeran in a brutal skit after Macklemore was removed from his US concert tour. Sheeran has been at the centre of criticism from pro-Palestine supporters, including celebrities, after Macklemore was dropped. Macklemore was dropped from Sheeran’s tour following pro-Palestine remarks and accusing Israel of committing “genocide” in Gaza. SNL targeted the singer in two separate segments, the first being on the ‘Weekend Update’, where comedian Ania Magliano mocked Sheeran’s music. The second saw a cast member dress up as Sheeran and mock him for “sitting on the fence” on the war in Gaza.
