‘Light on deliverables’ expected from Trump-Xi summit

US analyst Michael Ware has offered his perspective on the forthcoming meeting between US President Donald Trump and China’s President Xi Jinping. “We’re not really expecting anything of substance to come out of this week’s meeting,” Mr Ware told News24. “In fact, we’ve been told to expect it to be light on deliverables. “As it’s being pitched, this is more of a meeting about the relationship.”
