Rishworth fires back: Only Labor can guarantee secure retirements

Shayne Neumann, Member for Blair, questioned Minister for Employment Amanda Rishworth about how the Labor government is ensuring a safe and secure retirement for Australians during Question Time on Monday. “As the treasurer clearly said, it was Labor that created superannuation, and it is Labour that believes in it,” Ms Rishworth said. “Our government has passed legislation to ensure that superannuation is paid at the same time wages are given to workers, with better oversight. “Unfortunately, the biggest risk to hard-working Australians' retirements is those sitting opposite.”
