Residents from Russian-controlled Oleshky arrive in Ukraine amid ceasefire

Residents from the Russian-controlled city of Oleshky have arrived in Ukraine. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky celebrated the occasion on social media. “When the world pays attention, people are rescued. Further steps toward de-escalation and real progress toward peace are also needed,” he said. This comes after US First Lady Melania Trump secured a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the city of Oleshky.
