REA chairman sounds alarm on Labor’s tax hikes

​News24 host Sharri Markson says REA Group Chairman Hamish McLennan has sounded the alarm on the impact of Labor’s tax hikes. ​“Hamish McLennan tells me today that what we're seeing extends far beyond a housing crunch,” Ms Markson said. ​“He says even the living standards of retirees will be severely impacted. ​"He says the result of the government's sweeping tax changes in the May budget means less movement in the property market because the negative gearing changes are grandfathered.”
