News24 Contributor Sophie Elsworth details how the High Court has ruled search warrants used to gather evidence from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s former homes were unlawful. “It was indeed a rare legal win for the former prince,” Ms Elsworth told News24. “he took action against British police here because he claimed that they were given search warrants unlawfully to search his two properties, his former home, the Royal Lodge in Great Windsor Park, and also his home at Marsh Farm on Sandringham Estate. “The High Court here that, yes, those warrants that were given to police back in February when he was arrested by police, that they were unlawful and they should not have been given these. “This has certainly not cleared him, but it is quite a significant win for Andrew Mountbatten -Windsor.”
