Race ‘injected into WNBA’ as Caitlin Clark’s fans labelled ‘racist’

Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker reacts to former ESPN anchor Karri Champion calling WNBA player Caitlin Clark’s fans racist. “Sports have been integrated in the US since the 1940s; everybody's used to the idea, there are white athletes, black athletes, Hispanic athletes, whatever; no one cares,” Mr Hinderaker told News24 host Rita Panahi. “Now all of a sudden race has been injected into the WNBA. “It isn’t Clarke’s fans who keep talking about race; it is her critics, who, for whatever reason, can't seem to accept the fact that Caitlin Clark is a popular player. “The last thing it [WNBA] needs is these pointless controversies over race.”
