‘Historical turning point’: Economy needs vital ‘rethink’ as AI rises and government grows

​EQ Economics Managing Director Warren Hogan says the Australian economy needs a vital “rethink” as the nation reaches a “historical turning point” in terms of demographics and new technologies. ​"This government’s not doing the things we need to do as an economy and as a community to embrace the new technology and to drive our economy forward,” Mr Hogan told News24 host Peta Credlin. ​“There is a need to rethink the way we run this economy. ​“Beyond all else, the big problem is the size of government is just way too big, and it’s got to start pulling back.”
