The Australian Journalist Mohammed Alfares reveals Iraq has completed investigations into more than 5,700 ISIS suspects, including 13 Australians, with trials expected to begin soon. “Iraq has finalised their investigations into more than 5700 ISIS suspects and among those, of course, are what we believe are 13 Australians,” Mr Alfares said. “Whether Dr Jihad receives a death sentence, we know where Australia stands with capital punishment, so potentially that could lead to an intervention. “What we do know is that the embassy in Iraq is following these cases closely. “We expect these trials to happen soon.”
