​‘Triggered with Samara Gill’ host Samara Gill says the arresting of 60,000 Brits for ‘communication offences’ as trivial as viewing TikTok videos shows the “thought police" are at "full force”. ​“When you go into the cases, case by case, it starts to get very, very gnarly and quite sinister," Ms Gill told News24 host James Macpherson. ​“The fact that we’re under a Labour government and we’ve got things like this is pretty ridiculous. ​“Apparently we’ve got the resources to go and knock on people’s doors for tweets. It’s ridiculous.”
