David Horowitz Freedom Centre Shillman Fellow Josh Hammer believes the midterm results mark the death of the MAGA movement and an implosion of the Republican Party's electoral coalition. “I think it's not exaggeration to say that MAGA died. MAGA died with these midterm elections,” Mr Hammer told News24 host Rita Panahi. “Donald Trump is term-limited. He is done in 2028. MAGA had a good run. MAGA was the defining coalition of the American right for the past decade. “I mean, I used to live in Texas. I mean, I cannot believe that that state has gone blue. “I mean, this is a reckoning. This is an absolute reckoning. This is not just the death of MAGA. I think this is the implosion of the contemporary Republican Party electoral coalition.”
