‘Lift their game’: Trump administration turns up pressure on Australia over defence

Washington Correspondent Jonathan Kearsley reveals the Trump administration is again demanding Australia increase defence spending. “Once again, the United States Trump administration and the Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made their case to Australia to lift their game when it came to defence spending,” Mr Kearsley told News24 host Sharri Markson. “The Trump administration is America first, and it wants allies to do more to lift defence spending."
