JD Vance laments GOP midterm washout on Iran war and Trump administration's failures

US Vice President JD Vance has credited the Iran war and other failures by the Trump administration for Republicans losing the midterm elections. Following the Democrats' overwhelming victory, Vance took to X and reacted to the GOP's overwhelming loss. Vance argued that the “main problem is not turnout”, but the fact that Americans voted for Democrats. The vice president wrote that 2024 Trump/ Vance voters were “angry and planning to vote for Democrats” and revealed the four reasons why they switched. Vance asserted that Republicans lost the House and the Senate because of the Iran war, among other issues.
