‘I asked the president to fire him’: Mulvaney calls Fauci the most self-absorbed in Washington

Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney shared his impressions of working with Anthony Fauci, revealing that he was one of only two officials he ever asked the president to fire. “I found Tony Fauci to be one of the most self-absorbed people I worked with in Washington, DC,” Mr Mulvaney told News24. “Just think about some of the people I might’ve met during my 20-year career there. “I only asked the president to fire two people; one was John Bolton and the other one was Anthony Fauci. “He appeared on the cover of a social magazine … in the middle of COVID, sitting poolside with sunglasses on and a mask.”
