‘How can he be trusted?’: Albanese warned he must own up to Labor’s election failures

Nationals Leader Matt Canavan says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese must admit where his government has gone wrong if he hopes to regain voters’ trust following Labor’s damaging electoral setbacks. “If the prime minister wants to reset things, he needs to admit that he’s got things wrong,” Mr Canavan told News24 host Paul Murray. “If the prime minister can’t admit that he’s got things wrong, how can he ever be trusted to get things better?”
