Houthi group claims strikes on Saudi energy infrastructure near Riyadh

The Iran-Backed, Yemen-based Houthi group has claimed an attack on Saudi energy infrastructure overnight. Smoke was observed rising from an area near fuel tanks close to the capital city’s airport. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya al-Saree stated that sites in Riyadh were targeted in response to Saudi operations in Yemen’s capital. Saudi authorities have not commented on the incident.
