‘He didn’t tell any of us’: Ex-chief of staff accuses Fauci of concealing shutdown plans from WH

Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney strongly criticised former medical advisor Anthony Fauci, holding him chiefly responsible for the economic shutdowns during the pandemic. “I blame him for the shutdowns,” Mr Mulvaney told News24. “I didn’t find out until after I left the White House because he didn't tell any of us. “Under very, very rare, maybe even no circumstances do you actually shut down an economy. “Tony Fauci was the one probably singularly to blame for the United States shutting down and, in my mind, for the rest of the world. “I hope that history treats him objectively and fairly based upon the facts and not on his self-promotion.”
