Haley Stevens’ chief of staff speaks out, resigns with other aides over Mike Rogers endorsement

Haley Stevens’ chief of staff Justin German has released a statement in response to the Democrat’s endorsement of Republican candidate Mike Rogers in the Michigan Senate race. “As Haley Stevens’ Chief of Staff for eight years, I speak on behalf of our team in wholeheartedly supporting Abdul El-Sayed for Senate,” Mr German said. “This election is too important to sow division or stand on the sideline. We are shocked and heartbroken by Congresswoman Stevens’ decision to support Mike Rogers.” Mr German later in his statement revealed that as of this morning, “many members” of Ms Stevens’ team, including himself, have resigned.
