France faces recession fears as unrest threatens tourism industry

Commentator and Royal Expert Hilary Fordwich warns France’s economic difficulties could deepen amid unrest. “The problem with socialism is you run out of spending other people's money,” Ms Fordwich told News24 host Samara Gill. “And of course, we all know the more you tax anything, the less you get of it. “Tourism represents 11 per cent of their GDP.”
