Female hockey players outraged as trans athlete claims best and fairest award in Victoria

​News24 host Jaimee Rogers says we are watching the “integrity” of women’s sport “diminish” before our eyes. ​“A transgender athlete who previously competed in elite men's hockey has won a women's best and fairest award in Victoria,” Ms Rogers said. ​“The player scored 27 goals in the regular season. ​“Some of the women who play in this competition are furious. ​“If women's sport is worth celebrating, then surely it's worth debating how its integrity is protected?”
