News24 host Sharri Markson says Energy Minister Chris Bowen is facing the heat for “misleading Australians” on green hydrogen. “The energy minister claimed Green hydrogen was the fuel of the future, that it would account for 30 per cent of the world's transactions,” Ms Markson said. “Chris Bowen even said there'd be a revolution and Australia would be leading this industry globally. “But his predictions turned out to be way off the mark. “So off the mark, in fact, that many green hydrogen projects have proved unviable, and some have become white elephants. “Now that it hasn't panned out as Bowen planned, he's trying to rewrite history. “He's saying he never bought the hype.”
