Anika Wells insists she respects ABC’s ‘processes’ over graphic Gina Rinehart segment

Communications Minister Anika Wells says she respects the ABC’s processes in referring a graphic Gina Rinehart segment to the Ombudsman. “Like I said at the time, I think it’s a good and righteous thing that the ABC has referred it to the Ombudsman,” Ms Wells said. “As Minister for Communications I take their editorial independence really seriously, and I respect their processes. “It is now with the Ombudsman; I think that is a good thing.”
