AI giant Anthropic signs $32b Western Downs data centre

Nationals MP David Littleproud reacts to AI giant Anthropic’s $32b deal to use Queensland data centre Western Downs Digital Park. ​“This is an AI data centre, not a data centre, so it actually will have 1,500 jobs in construction and 1,400 in operation,” Mr Littleproud told News24. ​“They will be high-tech jobs. ​“My ask of these companies is to grow our next generation of AI data centre workers in Dalby and Chinchilla, and in Western Downs, and give us a real opportunity.”
