One Nation accused of being ‘incapable of understatement’ as distractions cloud real issues

The Australian Columnist Tom Switzer believes One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson and her candidates are “incapable of understatement". “They make the kind of statements and policy announcements that are a distraction from what should be the main game: cost of living pressures. ​“There is widespread dissatisfaction with both Labor and the Coalition, and One Nation still stands to be the beneficiary of that discontent. ​“You don’t want to underestimate this because it’s the same thing that’s happening in Britain with Nigel Farage’s Reform Party, the same thing with Marine Le Pen in France, and indeed Germany’s AfD.”
