Spiked Online Editor Tom Slater condemns a UK guide warning asylum seekers that child abuse, domestic violence and sex without consent are illegal, calling it a grim admission about the migrant crisis. “This is absolutely shocking,” Mr Slater told News24 host Sharri Markson. “Some of the instructions that asylum seekers are given are that child abuse is a serious crime in the United Kingdom, that domestic violence is illegal in the United Kingdom and that if you are to have sex with someone, both parties must say yes. “Almost most chillingly of all is at the bottom of these little graphics … is the line: if you break these laws, you may be reported to the police, and you may lose your asylum support, not should or will. “This is a really grim admission.”
