What’s the state of bilateral ties between Singapore and Indonesia following tensions over the transboundary haze? Singapore Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan said that when common challenges like the haze arise, there is bound to be differences in priorities and approach, but it’s important for cool heads to prevail, for direct, honest, candid and constructive conversations. “The Singapore way is to be prepared, to be constructive and to be quietly confident.
