Thailand floods: Authorities declare Bangkok a disaster zone after days of continuous rain

Thailand's capital declared a disaster zone after continuous rain triggered flooding across all 50 districts. The designation allows agencies to respond more quickly in affected areas. Floodwaters have spread across the city, particularly in the central and eastern parts, blocking roads and stopping traffic. The city's governor says the flooding has now stabilised. Downpours are expected to continue through Sunday.
